Empowered Relationship Coaching is for couples wanting to deepen their connection and purpose and for individuals who are wanting to strengthen their authentic self and heal anything in the way of inhabiting a healthy and loving relationship.
Empowered Relationship coaching is based in the practice of compassionate communication, deep listening, honest sharing, and developing "secure attachment".
When we learn to express ourselves honestly with warm regard, autonomy and trust deepen, opening the door to intimacy. Deep listening is a skill that is obtained through practice and guidance and takes the intimacy to a new level.
In Secure functioning relationships the focus is first on creating a deeper connection with our self, learning to be with our self intimately. Then the focus shifts to developing healthy bonding with our partner, this is a conscious act that requires courage to confront our destructive behavior, learn how to self nurture, co-nurture and develop relational skills.
Secure Attachment theory is based upon how we Bonded or Attached with our caregivers from the time of being in the womb, infancy and throughout our childhood.
While our parents did the best they could, they were not perfect or in some cases far from it. The focus is not on blame but understanding where our parents fell short and how that is currently affecting our ability to attach/bond in a healthy way. This often leaves us feeling unfulfilled in areas of intimacy and autonomy.
The good news is people with insecure attachment can learn to rewire their attachment to create secure-functioning relationships that are deeply fulfilling. I help couples and individuals develop intimacy and autonomy skills which leads to Co-creating in relationship.
When we develop secure attachment our whole world changes; we feel more relaxed, more confident, more inspired, more alive and more connected.
I offer a unique blend of trainings and experience acquired while working with individuals and couples over the past 25 years. These include:
*Teaching and facilitating Compassionate Communication (NVC), a practice of deep listening, sharing and making requests leading to deeper understanding, empathy and compassion;
*Participating in and facilitating Emotive Sub-Self Healing, a practice that includes working and connecting with different, mostly younger, parts of our self;
*Studying at Higher Alignment for three and a half years I have learned to read creative energies and compatibility factors, helping individuals and couples have a deeper understanding and acceptance of themselves;
*Ongoing practice of Zen Meditation and mindfulness.
